Welcome to Geeks Express ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our computer repair services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Scope of Services

We provide computer repair, maintenance, and related services. The specific scope of services will be outlined in the service agreement or as discussed prior to commencing work.


2. Customer Responsibilities

2.1 Backup of Data:
It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all data before submitting a device for repair. We are not liable for data loss under any circumstances.

2.2 Accurate Information:
The customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information about the device and any issues encountered.

2.3 Authorization:
By submitting a device for repair, you authorize us to access and modify system files, hardware, and software as necessary to perform the repair.


3. Diagnosis and Estimates

3.1 Diagnostic Fee:
A non-refundable diagnostic fee may apply, which will be communicated upfront.

3.2 Repair Approval:
Repairs will not proceed until you approve the estimated cost. Any additional costs for unforeseen issues will require further authorization.


4. Repairs and Warranty

4.1 Warranty on Repairs:
We provide a limited warranty of 15 days on repair services, covering the specific issue addressed.

4.2 Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:

Any parts replaced during repair will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable.


5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Methods:
We accept  cash, credit cards, bank transfers.

5.2 Payment Due:
Full payment is due upon completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.3 Non-Payment:
If payment is not received, we reserve the right to retain the device until the balance is settled.


6. Liability

6.1 Device Damage:
While we take utmost care, we are not liable for any damage to the device during the repair process, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6.2 Data Loss:
We are not responsible for data loss or corruption during repairs. Customers are advised to back up their data before repair.

6.3 Third-Party Services:
We may recommend third-party software or services. We are not liable for issues arising from their use.


7. Uncollected Devices

Devices not collected within  30 days after notification of repair completion may incur storage fees. If uncollected for 90 days, the device may be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.


8. Privacy and Data Handling

We respect your privacy. Any personal information or data on your device will be handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].


9. Cancellations and Refunds

9.1 Cancellation:
You may cancel a repair request before work begins without charge. Cancellation after repair commencement may incur fees for work completed or parts ordered.

9.2 Refunds:
Refunds for unsatisfactory services will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Diagnostic fees are non-refundable.


 

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or communicated directly. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
